Dr. Schimmel and his co – host Brian Dewan usher in the New Year. Brian talks about his Christmas caroling at the Hi Lo in Catskill New York – as well as the morning Mellotron sessions. His film strips will also be shown at the Park Avenue Armory as part of the Perogi Gallery exhibit. Dr. Schimmel talks about his up coming gigs: New Years at the Philharmonic – The opera 48.8 Psychosis – The Israeli Philharmonic and the six day accordion event at Lincoln Center from April 1 to the 6 – Accordion Mixology. Brian will close the event with one of his famous sing – a -longs. Dr. Schimmel tells his famous yearly New Years Eve story and plays his new work, New Years Eve for solo Melodica. Brian plays and sings the wonderful Walking in the Air from the animated Christmas film, The Snowman.
